Important Details

Long Lake is located in Maine's Western Lakes and Mountain region and runs 13 miles south from “the Friendly Village” of Harrison at the northern tip to Brandy Pond, which connects to Sebago Lake.  The house is just 4 miles from this charming little New England town.  Eight miles south is the Naples causeway, a beach boardwalk of bygone eras, offering souvenir shops, airplane rides, miniature golf, watercraft rentals, restaurants, and the Songo River Queen Cruise Boat. 

On rainy days, head next door to Bridgton where you’ll find a movie house, shops and the Rufus Porter Museum.  Continue west on Route 302 and you’ll find the Freyburg bowling alley and the outlets of North Conway, New Hampshire.  If you prefer the coast, head east 40 miles east to Freeport and worship at the altar of L.L. Bean, grab lobster and steamers or set your compass south to Portland’s “Old Port”.  A vibrant waterfront, ocean beaches, lighthouses and the Portland Seadogs add a touch of Americana to every vacation and entertainment for kids of all ages.
